The academic Grade 10 course, usually a student’s first Shakespeare and first sustained analytical essays — and it lands in the same year as the OSSLT, so the reading and writing stamina built here does double duty.

Assessment & credit

Standard Ontario assessment: 70% coursework, 30% final evaluation. Completion ships as an official transcript, OUAC-listed and recognized by public and private schools.
