CGC1W Geography of Canada (Grade 9)
The compulsory Grade 9 geography credit (de-streamed; formerly CGC1D): Canada’s landforms, resources, settlement patterns and the sustainability questions underneath them — taught with real maps, real data and introductory GIS.

PREREQUISITE
None — a compulsory Grade 9 credit.
Assessment & credit
Standard Ontario assessment: 70% coursework, 30% final evaluation. Completion ships as an official transcript, OUAC-listed and recognized by public and private schools.
How we run it
Small groups, online or in person (Markham campus); semester, summer and winter intakes, scheduled around the student’s Top 6 plan.
