What it is
One 60-minute workshop, taught hands-on. Students write and run real code in the session rather than watching someone else do it.
Format
- One session, 60 minutes
- Suited to Grade 4 and up
- No prior experience assumed
Who it suits
Families deciding whether to commit to a longer coding track, and students who want to try it before enrolling.
Who this course is for
This one-hour workshop is written for first-timers, not for students already coding in a text language.
- A child who has never written a line of code and wants to try it once before you commit to a term
- A student who loves computers, games or AI and keeps asking how they are made
- A parent in the GTA deciding whether Python for kids is the right fit before choosing a longer program
- A student who has used Scratch or Roblox and is ready to move from blocks to real written code
