AI Creator Intermediate: Hands-On AI + Coding Projects

STEMRise 睿思教育 | AI Creator Intermediate: Hands-On AI Projects

From Knowing How to Code to Becoming an AI Product Engineer

After learning Python, Java, C++, or Roblotics, or gaining experience with ChatGPT or Claude, a child’s next step is not simply learning another tool. It is turning their own Idea into a real AI product with strong technology, thoughtful design, and genuine value for users.

The STEMRise AI Creator Intermediate: Hands-On AI Projects course is designed for students who already have experience with coding or AI projects and are ready for a greater challenge. Rather than giving every student the same assignment, the course begins with each student’s interests and a real-world problem, then guides them through:

  1. Idea
  2. Research
  3. Design
  4. AI Architecture
  5. Coding
  6. Testing
  7. Deployment
  8. User Feedback
  9. Pitch

By the end, students will have a working, adaptable AI product that can continue to grow into a competition entry, entrepreneurial project, or personal portfolio piece.

Who Is This Course For?

  • Students with a foundation in coding (Python, Java, Web, or C)
  • Students with an ongoing interest in AI, Coding, and product development
  • Students with a creative Idea they want to bring to life
  • Students interested in Hackathon events, AI competitions, or technology innovation contests
  • Students planning to pursue CS, AI, or Engineering in the future

What Makes AI Creator Different?

  • From Set Assignments to Independent Creation

Projects can grow from real-world settings such as education, sports, the environment, health, gaming, school, or the local community. Mentors help students assess user needs, the value AI can add, and technical feasibility, then break a big idea into a product they can successfully build.

  • From Individual Skills to a Complete Tech Stack

Depending on the needs of each project, students may work with:

LLM, API, RAG, AI Agent, Prompt, Vibe Coding, front-end and back-end development, databases, GitHub, cloud deployment, Figma UI/UX, data processing, and user testing.

The goal is not to memorize a particular tool, but to learn how to choose and combine technologies to solve problems.

  • From Vibe Coding to AI Engineering

Students learn how to define requirements, break down tasks, collaborate with AI, read code, Debug, refactor, integrate, and test. AI helps them work more efficiently, while students remain responsible for evaluating options, making decisions, and solving problems.

  • From Building Features to Thinking Like a Product Creator

Beyond asking what features a product should have, students also consider:

    • Who truly needs it?
    • Why are existing solutions not good enough?
    • What new possibilities does AI create?
    • How should the product evolve based on user feedback?

Students gradually develop a well-rounded perspective that brings together technology, users, products, and the market.

Project Development Process

  1. Idea Discovery & Researchidentifying a problem, researching users, analyzing competing products, assessing AI feasibility, and defining the product’s position
  2. Product Design & Prototypeusing Figma to design the product flow, user experience, interface prototype, and feature set
  3. AI Architecturedesigning the LLM, Prompt, API, RAG, Agent, and AI Workflow
  4. Full-stack Developmentcompleting front-end and back-end development, data processing, AI integration, databases, Debug, and testing
  5. GitHub & Deploymentlearning Git, version control, collaboration, and cloud deployment, then publishing a Live Demo
  6. User Testing & Iterationgathering real feedback and continuously improving the product
  7. Demo Day & Pitchpresenting the product, explaining the technology, and completing a Pitch Deck and Q&A

What Will Students Take Away?

  • An AI product that is truly their own
  • A complete AI product development workflow
  • Skills in AI Engineering, system integration, Debug, deployment, and project management
  • A project that can grow into a Hackathon entry, AI competition submission, or entrepreneurial venture
  • A portfolio piece that demonstrates technical depth and original thinking

From AI Builder to AI Creator

Course StageWhat Students Do
AI BuilderBuild a complete AI product for the first time
AI CreatorBegin with a problem they care about, then create, develop, test, and launch a product that is truly their own

More and more children will learn how to use AI. What will remain truly valuable is the ability to identify problems, develop ideas, bring technologies together, build products, and create something others can use.

STEMRise 睿思教育: helping students grow from AI followers into AI creators and turn their interests into lasting strengths.

Who this course is for

This intermediate AI course assumes a student who has already written code and now wants to build something of their own.

  • Has worked in Python, Java, web or C and has run out of road in a beginner coding class
  • Has finished an AI project before — for example AI Builder — and wants to lead the next one
  • Uses ChatGPT or Claude constantly but has never built an AI product that other people can open and use
  • Has an idea from school, sport, health, gaming or the community and no idea how to get it built
  • Wants a hackathon, AI contest or tech innovation competition entry to work on
  • Plans to apply in CS, AI or engineering and needs a portfolio piece with real depth
